For this project, I created a ramen poster design for a restaurant. My goal was to create an eye-catching advertisement that would grab the attention of people passing by.
I started with a mood board to explore vibrant colours, bold typography, and different visual directions. I wanted the food to take centre stage, so I chose a high-quality image that I could enlarge and edit without losing detail.
I paired the food photography with bright colours, playful typography, and repeated graphic elements. I also added small lines that mimic ramen noodles. These details create movement and add a playful feel to the poster.
This ramen poster design taught me how to use mood boards to build a strong visual direction. I also learned how imagery, typography, and colour can work together to create an effective product advertisement.
